5.1.2.8. Apparentintersection

The Apparent intersection command snaps to the intersection point of two selected elements, closest to the selection points. This command determines the intersection point even if the elements do not actually intersect each other on the drawing (except for parallel lines).

• Select the first element.

• Select the other element.

2The difference between the two commands is that in case of the Apparent intersection command you have to define both elements, while the Intersection command determines the closest existing intersection point on the selected element.
